🔒 = locked — dislikes and RED-verdict likes need C rank (500 XP); D can only like green/neutral (+3) and F accounts can't vote at all. 5/10 Mid never moves XP — it counts in the score, not the tank.
How Reviews & XP Work
Ratings & Grades
Rate anime and episodes on 10 stars. An anime's headline badge (S+/S/A/B/C/D) is earned by C-rank and above reviewers, weighted by rank and by their XP — a high-XP S+ voice outweighs a fresh B. A separate audience score shows everyone's average, so a downvote mob can't hijack the badge.
Hidden Gems
An anime the crowd loves (8+/10 average) that no trusted reviewer has graded yet shows as a Hidden Gem — not falsely crowned, not buried. One more reason for C+ reviewers to weigh in.
Trusted XP (the tiebreaker)
Every anime's badge shows its Trusted XP — the combined XP of the reviewers shaping its grade. Two anime with the same 10/10 aren't equal: the one backed by more Trusted XP wins Vs-battle ties. Trusted XP also ranks the anime — and every review's Review XP uses the exact same ladder:

Rank Up & Earn XP
New users get an XP boost on their first reviews to climb faster. Every review you post earns XP — at 500 XP for C rank your vote gains real power. Dislikes and likes on RED (1–4) reviews require C rank; D-rank accounts can still like green/neutral reviews at +3, so a fresh-account mob can't hurt anything. Spam to attack and you lose the very reputation that gives you weight.
Review XP vs Your XP
Each review earns its own Review XP — the D–S+ badge near the rating word — and the anime/episode tank is the sum of all its reviews' XP. Votes are priced by the voter's rank (D +3 → S+ +15; dislikes −2 → −7): GREEN pours in, RED takes back out, 5/10 stays silent, and a mobbed anime can sink negative. Separate from your profile XP — the bar by your name.
Dislikes & Anti-Bombing
Dislikes — and likes on RED (1–4) reviews — need C rank (500 XP). D can only like green/neutral at +3, so a fresh mob can't pump up a Trash review or drown a masterpiece: on RED a mob's like actually takes points off its own target. Review-bombing is dead on arrival.
